Hiking trails in Alta Badia


More than 400 km of marked and maintained hiking trails from the villages in Alta Badia, through forests and meadows to take you to traditional alpine meadows, alpine refuges, and the peaks of the Dolomites. In the midst of the UNESCO Puez-Geisler / Puez-Odle and the Fanes-Sennes-Prags / Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Parks, you can still experience an untouched and untamed Mother Nature. The summertime mountain aerial cableways of Alta Badia help you to ascend and descend. The Alta Badia Tourism Association also offers guided hiking and mountain tours during the summer months.

Exploring the passes of the Dolomites by racing bike


There's no arguing about it: The Dolomites and especially Alta Badia are a paradise for bike racers. Where else in the world will you find more racing bicycle routes leading through the spectacular routes through the passes of the Dolomites and along the mountain ranges? And then there's the proverbial love of the inhabitants for bicycle races – including the annual Giro d’Italia, the legendary Maratona dles Dolomites, or the Sellaronda Bike Day. In any event, here in La Villa, bike racers will feel right at home.

Mountainbiking in Alta Badia


Since 2014, Alta Badia has fulfilled all of the quality standards to be a member of the Mountain Bike Holidays. In 2015, the region was also designated an "approved bike area." That means something: All around La Villa, mountainbikers will find excellent conditions for fun and adventure on two wheels – whether hardtail or full-suspension. A total of 80 km of designated off-road trails mean that you can enjoy your mountainbike vacation in South Tyrol without a worry.
